Updated 13th September 2010 These pictures are twice the size of an average web picture, so please allow time for them to load. Thanks.
These show the construction of the waterfall and leat (man made stream) that I am currently involved with.
This first picture shows the waterfall, the customer wanted this random swooping feel to the stones.
This gives a good idea of the irregular style required by the customer to make it look like the bottom of a river bed.
This is the point where I have become involved, I am helping to construct about 50 meters of stream similar to this 'mock up'
Here you can see the finished project starting to take shape, it would be easy other than it needs to be watertight of course.
and from the front (sorry for spoiling the view).
Here it is finished and working.
The water just brings the project to life.
The view upstream, you can still see where the liner has not been trimmed.
I think it is important to mention that this is far from my own work, rather a project that I have been involved with. A professional waterscape company built this with help from myself under the careful guidence of the owner. This web page is purely to show the guys at Knockdown Stone how the stone has been used. The waterfall itself is not my work, but I was involved with the pool below and the rest of the leat.
What a project to be involved with.
